Double Wide mobile homes are not always bigger as you might think. Actually, some of our more popular floorplans such as The Breeze are very short in length, this gives them a more square profile and when walking through the home will feel more like a stick built house and less like a trailer. Another benefit to a Double Wide trailer home is that your bedrooms dont have to be arranged in a line, with the master bedroom at the end. Instead, there is usually a central hallway that the rooms will be clustered around. Seperating your kitchen / laundry area to one side of the house while your living room and places to sleep is on the other is also a great way to split up your home. Still, single wides have their benefits too. They can easily be unset and transported to a new location in ways that a double wide cannot. A double wide will have to be joined on the site, which costs money and if not done properly can possibly introduce leaks into your roof. This is not the case with a single wide, which is one single unit as the name implies.
Will my home come with a warranty?
It depends, since we represent so many manufacturers. Most manufacturers are legally required to provide at least a 1 year warranty on their product. Beyond that, we offer a 7 year warranty, among other options. Getting a warranty besides the one provided by your manufacturer is a smart choice, as it insures you against future problems with your investment, so you can go to sleep at night knowing that the next floor leak wont drain your wallet! We always recommend protecting the asset that is your new home, but we also understand the budget a lot of customers may have. If it doesnt make sense for your situation, we wont force you to purchase a warranty (especially if youre the handyman type person!)
Another reason to go with Home Nation, is that we can find you financing for your manufactured home. Most manufactured home dealers won't do this, instead leaving you to fund it yourself. We work closely with several lenders, and can make that process much easier. Just fill out the form on our Financing Page to see if you're eligible for one of our very competitive loans. If you're looking for mobile homes in CA, getting your home funded shouldn't be the obstacle between you and a new home, we can often finance our buyers, even with low credit scores.
If you're located in Norden, California, and need a local lender for manufactured homes in CA, we can help you out. Contact us today to find the perfect lender, and get you payments you can work with.
