Very rarely, some manufacturers will actually allow you to tour the factory while your home is being built. This is generally for Modular Homes and more custom projects where more money is in involved. Due to the nature of manufacturing mobile homes, its possible you could show up to the factory and miss your house being built. At an especially busy factory they just build them too fast! A better option would be to go to your nearest Home Nation sales lot to see some of our lot models. Here you will see a similar home made by the same manufacturer. With the same trim, carpet, paint, and appliances you can really get an idea of what your final home will look like. And if this isnt enough, you can even do a 3D tour on a few of our most popular floorplans! Using it with a VR headset will give you the most realistic tour of your home to be that you can get.
How is a mobile home built in a factory?
One question we are often asked is how are our mobile homes actually made? All our homes are built to a strict professional standard by fully qualified manufacturers. They start with building a steel frame which forms the strong foundation of your home. From there, floors and frames are added, with safety professionals checking them every step of the way. Next comes the roof, which for our single wide homes provide its structural integrity. Our double-wide homes work slightly different, where the whole roof is lifted and attached to your home. After that, our team will work on adding the finishing touches, such as adding tiling, windows and doors. Once everything is in place, all that’s left is for you to make your house a home by selecting the elements you want for your home’s interior design.
Another reason to go with Home Nation, is that we can find you financing for your prefab home. Most manufactured home dealers won't do this, instead leaving you to fund it yourself. We work closely with several lenders, and can make that process much easier. Just fill out the form on our Financing Page to see if you're eligible for one of our very competitive loans. If you're looking for mobile homes in NC, getting your home funded shouldn't be the obstacle between you and a new home, we can often finance our buyers, even with low credit scores.
If you're located in Faison, North Carolina, and need a local lender for manufactured homes in NC, we can help you out. Contact us today to find the perfect lender, and get you payments you can work with.
