What if admin support was the key to unlocking millions in growth?
In this episode of Builder Buzz by Home Nation, host Quinton Comino sits down with Thais Saenz, founder of Saenz Global, to explore how her team is helping $20M+ roofing companies scale—without adding to their payroll. Acting as a full-service admin operations partner, Saenz Global handles everything from lead follow-up and permitting to production management and insurance coordination.
With deep expertise in industry CRMs like JobNimbus and AccuLynx, Saenz Global integrates directly into contractors’ systems, delivering the kind of speed, consistency, and clarity that’s tough to find with in-house staff turnover. Thais unpacks how automation, SOPs, and cross-cultural teams enable roofing companies to scale nationwide—even without a physical office.
She also dives into Saenz Global 2.0, a faster onboarding system built on over a million hours of admin experience, and explains why her team only works with companies ready to follow proven systems. This conversation is all about scaling with intention, operational clarity, and how better admin support improves both business and family life.

Quinton Comino: Hi guys, today I'm sitting with Thais with Saenz Global. This is going to be a fantastic interview. Her company focuses on that admin support for roofing contractors, roofing companies. These are companies that are making about 20 million every year, top line, but they need help in their office to really grow. Science Global has filled the gap there. They've identified those pain points that these contractors have and they say, hey, let us step in and let us really help you succeed. We'll call your customers, we'll take care of your contracts, we'll take care of the follow-up, all that sort of stuff. They fill in the gap and help those companies really succeed and grow where they otherwise aren't able to do. So tune in and let's hear how Science Global is making a big difference with roofing contractors.
Quinton Comino: Saenz Global isn't a software company, right? You provide admin support for roofing companies?
Thais Saenz: Yes, exactly. But we’re like software in the sense that we know their systems inside out and integrate with them. We also built our own task management system to keep everything on track for our clients.
Quinton Comino: So who's your ideal customer? What are they coming to you for?
Thais Saenz: Our ideal client is doing around $20 million a year or more. They already have a team but want to increase bandwidth without constantly hiring and training new admin staff. With us, it's business-to-business—they don’t have to coach us. We just plug in and go.
Quinton Comino: And what kind of admin work do you handle?
Thais Saenz: Everything from inbound calls to lead follow-ups, measurements, estimates, permits, scheduling inspections, production coordination, insurance follow-ups, supplements, COCs, invoicing, and quality control. Basically everything except putting the roof on.
Quinton Comino: Wow—that’s the whole backend. How do you avoid problems being remote? Any special processes to make sure things don't slip through the cracks?
Thais Saenz: It's all about automation. We have clear onboarding expectations and standardized procedures tailored to each client. Everything we do is based on triggers in their CRM—if a trigger doesn’t fire, no action is taken. It keeps things clean and transparent.
Quinton Comino: Makes sense. So you can really do this from anywhere.
Thais Saenz: Exactly. We've worked with contractors who don't even have an office. As long as they're set up digitally, we can manage everything remotely.
Quinton Comino: That's impressive. So for a $20 million roofing company, how big is their team typically?
Thais Saenz: It varies, but they usually have a small office space. The staff is mainly in the field closing jobs. On our end, we just need a few key contacts—usually production managers, sales managers, and maybe accounting. Sometimes it's all one person.
Quinton Comino: Got it. So you’re logging into their CRM—how do you avoid chaos with everyone using different systems?
Thais Saenz: Great question. We've used pretty much every roofing CRM out there, but as we scale, we’re standardizing. Science Global 2.0 is focused on just two CRMs: JobNimbus and Acculinks. If a client isn’t on one of those, we can’t support them. That way we maintain consistency and efficiency.
Quinton Comino: That’s smart. So you’re fully in their systems?
Thais Saenz: Yes. We don’t extract their data—we work entirely within their CRM. Our triggers, workflows, everything happens there. We just handle the pipeline seamlessly for them.
Quinton Comino: That's amazing. And you mentioned Science Global 2.0—is that your new scaling strategy?
Thais Saenz: Exactly. It’s all about simplicity. We've engineered the onboarding process to just two weeks now. We’ve brought in automation experts to make the client experience seamless, with clear SOPs tailored to best practices.
Quinton Comino: Very smart. I guess you can’t scale without simplicity.
Thais Saenz: Absolutely. And we’re also building out data reporting so clients can see where gaps are before they become problems. The goal is a backend that runs like a machine.
Quinton Comino: Do you have historical data you can share with potential clients to show expected results?
Thais Saenz: We're working on making that even more robust. We already have success stories—like clients going from $3 million to $47 million in five years with us. But the new system will let us share more granular, data-driven projections.
Quinton Comino: That will be huge for closing sales. So if a client doesn't even have a CRM, do you help them get set up?
Thais Saenz: Yes, but only if they're ready. On our discovery call, we figure out if we can actually help them. If not, we’ll recommend resources or partners. We don’t want to force anyone—it has to be the right time for them to make it work.
Quinton Comino: That’s smart. You only want committed partners.
Thais Saenz: Exactly. It's like building a championship team—you need the right players who are willing to train and win together. Even if we can’t help immediately, we’ll give them a checklist of things to get in order so they're ready down the road.
Quinton Comino: Love it. How big is your team now?
Thais Saenz: We're at 87 people, spread across the US, Brazil, and Argentina. We’ve got a really solid, talented group. Everyone was referred by another team member, so it's all been organic growth.
Quinton Comino: That’s fantastic. What does your day-to-day look like as the leader?
Thais Saenz: Lots of sales—I love sales. But I also invest a lot in coaching and block out my time very intentionally. Some days are for meetings, some for focused work. Consistency and systems are key.
Quinton Comino: Simplicity again! Well, I know you’re busy. Thank you so much for your time, Tais. If someone wants to learn more, where should they go?
Thais Saenz: Thank you! Just look us up online—Saenz Global. That’s S-A-E-N-Z Global. We’re on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Spotify, Instagram—everywhere. Our team is always happy to help.
Quinton Comino: Fantastic. Thank you again—I really enjoyed this!
Thais Saenz: Thank you! See you!
