Estimated Installation Cost: NOTE This is a price guide only. Actual costs will vary depending on specific site conditions and by region

The estimated installation cost includes the following*:

  • Setting the home that you selected onto your foundation or building pad (This assumes normal lot conditions and does not include any extra costs to maneuver the home to your building site or any crane rental fees)
  • Installing blocking or piers under the home and levelling the home with shims
  • Anchoring the home to your foundation with tornado and/or hurricane proof anchors
  • Insulating the marriage line and bolting the various sections of your home together at both the floor and roof lines (if there is more than one section)
  • Finishing roof venting and ridge cap shingles
  • Installing siding on the ends with house wrap (if you selected the house wrap option with your home order)
  • Installing soffit and fascia on the ends of the home for the complete exterior finish
  • Estimates to hook up to existing utilities (you will have to add the cost of a new septic, well, electrical service, and also driveway and etc as needed on your site)
  • Estimate to complete the inside trim and finish work

Notes:

Add for concrete If a concrete foundation (slab or crawl space) is required, add an estimate of $10 per Sq Ft of home to this price guide (if you don't have an actual quote)

Add for skirting (Not needed if home is on a crawl space)

Add for A/C if not an option included by your manufacturer

Home Nation is your first choice for a Home!  With our unique process we make it possible for you to literally SAVE THOUSAND$ while getting the most home that you can for your budget.  Our job is to supply the ‘Home portion’ of your home building project AND GUARANTEE  that it will be the best price anywhere!

 

There are several other pieces that will need to come together to complete your project besides your home.  Here is what else you will need:

 

- A Permit

- A Foundation (which may be a pad, a crawl space or basement)

- Electric and Plumbing connections

- Steps

 

In addition you may need a survey, a plot plan (in order to get a permit), a septic system, a well, decks, porch, a driveway or a garage.

 

Tying these specialty subcontractors together is the job of the Project Manager who will direct the installation of your home.  Your Project Manager will:

 

- Hire and schedule subcontractors, including the Home installer

- Manage their work on site

- Oversee payments once their work is complete

 

Home installation is a relatively simple process so a homeowner can easily coordinate the specialty contractors required for each of these steps themselves.  This is why many of our buyers prefer to be the Project Manager on their own project and save that cost. This is just one way you can save A LOT of money by rolling up your sleeves and getting into it.

 

Other homeowners will also choose to complete some aspects of their project themselves, such as landscaping, inside trim, plumbing connections and so forth, as they are able and have the time and skill to do so. If you're looking for the most affordable way to own a home, this is it.

 

If you would rather not manage your project Home Nation has Project Managers who work directly out of each of our locations that we can refer you to.  Even if your home is outside our immediate service area, Home Nation will help you locate a Project Manager in your area.  It is our strict company policy that you must have a capable Project Manager to oversee your installation in order to purchase a home from us. Again, if you opt NOT to manage your own project, you MUST have a capable Project Manager instead.

 

SO in summary here is the Home Nation process;

 

FIND a home:

We help you select your home and options that will fit your budget.

 

ARRANGE for a loan:

We connect you with a bank who will loan you the funds for your home

 

SELECT a Project Manager:

We connect you to a project manager who will hire, supervise, schedule and arrange payments to the sub contractors who will install your home.

 

SERVICE your home:

We make sure that you are not on your own after the sale!  We supply a free 6 year service warranty for every home that is out of our direct service area, and personally service every home that is within our service area.

 

TELL OTHERS:

Once we have helped you save THOUSAND$ tell someone else your secret!  You could even earn money from your home by enrolling it in our Display Home program and showing off your new home to another buyer like yourself!  Ask your salesperson for details.

As such, they do NOT have the time to do what we do, which is order & sell the home. Likewise we do not have the time to do what THEY do, or we would be limited to selling about 50 homes per year, and selling that amount means we wouldn't be able to offer the great discounts to you that we do...)
